Dark Star

Hot tub / cowboy pool / views / privacy

Welcome to Dark Star. A 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Wonder Valley, surrounded by desert & mountain views.

Good to Know

It’s quiet out here in a way that feels different. Sunsets stretch a little longer. Nights get properly dark, the stars are endless.

Spend your days out on the deck, cooling off in the cowboy pool or heading into Joshua Tree National Park, just a short drive away. Evenings are for the spa, the fire pit, watching the sky fill up with stars. It’s an easy place to settle in & slow down.

The space
Inside you’ll find a simple, grounded layout that feels easy and comfortable. A space to land after a day in the park or an afternoon doing absolutely nothing.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms

Perfect for two couples, a small group of friends, or anyone who wants a little extra breathing room.

Outdoor Living

This is where Dark Star earns its name.

- Cool off in the cowboy pool during the heat of the day.
- Soak in the spa as the sky turns pink.
- Light the fire pit and stay up way past your bedtime watching the Milky Way roll overhead.

Wonder Valley is a designated dark sky area with almost zero light pollution. On clear nights, the stars are unreal.

Remote, But Not Disconnected

Dark Star is equipped with high-speed Starlink WiFi, so you can stream, work remotely, or send that “wish you were here” photo before you log off again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed down to the smallest detail; we especially liked the yard.

Beautiful home, plenty to do on the property, outdoor area was wonderful. Did not have to leave the property to see the night sky - yes, we saw a shooting star. Beautifully curated decor, furniture, and music albums. Lots of nice extras, blankets, portable outdoor lights, coffee and tea. Would stay here again!
