Cocoon is a locally rooted Joshua Tree hospitality and vacation rental management team with a personal, hands-on approach to every home and every stay. We combine thoughtful design, attentive guest care and local expertise to create memorable desert experiences and help each property perform at its best.

We are an experienced, locally rooted team dedicated to elevating short-term rental hosting. By thoughtfully managing unique homes, paying close attention to the details, and prioritizing personal guest interactions, we create memorable stays and take great care of the homes entrusted to us.
We use technology to help our team stay fast and organized, but guest communication is handled by our own team, not AI or virtual assistants. When a guest needs help, they’re talking to someone who knows the home and the High Desert.
Recognizing the unique appeal of the desert, we emphasize wellness-focused experiences, thoughtfully curated to help our guests unwind, reconnect, and rejuvenate.
Meet our Founder
Jenn Gladysz founded Cocoon with a unique perspective shaped by diverse experiences in hospitality, service-driven businesses, and community engagement. After growing up in New York, serving in the Army, and studying Art, Culture, and Museum Studies at NYU, Jenn built and successfully sold Brooklyn’s largest and highest-rated pet care business. Her lifelong passion for wellness, nature, and holistic experiences deeply influences Cocoon’s philosophy and offerings.
Following extensive travel throughout the United States, Jenn fell in love with Joshua Tree and its vibrant desert community. Her appreciation for authentic, immersive wellness experiences inspired Cocoon’s approach—rooted in meaningful connections, local integration, and thoughtfully designed stays that nourish body, mind, and spirit.
Our Dedicated Team
Cocoon’s local team is actively involved in the day-to-day care of the homes we manage. We oversee inspections, cleaners, maintenance and vendors, handle guest communication and issues, monitor pricing and booking performance, and stay in direct contact with owners.
Our team brings specialized experience across property management, guest hospitality, home maintenance, design, marketing and revenue strategy. From personalized guest service and proactive property oversight to design guidance, strategic marketing and detailed pricing analysis, our approach is hands-on and tailored to each home.
Our attentive team helps keep properties beautifully cared for, guests well supported, and owners informed and confident in how their home is being managed.
